On May 9, a six-member delegation led by President Zhou Fei of Shinawatra University visited the Medical School. Shen Lihua, Director of the College Development Committee and Chairperson of the Medical School, Xu Zefang, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office, Chen Xiaoping, Vice Dean of the Medical School, and relevant faculty members received the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on joint training of nursing talents, faculty and student exchanges, and academic cooperation.

At the start of the forum, Chen Xiaoping, Vice Dean of the Medical School, extended a sincere welcome to the delegation on behalf of the college, and introduced the overall development of the college and the current progress of the Medical School. Afterwards, President Zhou Fei gave a detailed introduction to Shinawatra University, covering its school-running overview, discipline layout, faculty strength, and the academic upgrading program for nursing major.

During the discussion, focusing on practical cooperation outcomes, both sides conducted in-depth deliberations on key issues including academic system optimization, credit recognition standard refinement and curriculum system articulation for nursing students pursuing bachelor’s degrees in Thailand. They also exchanged views on innovative cooperation models such as faculty visiting programs, student study tours and academic exchanges, and clarified the implementation path, laying a solid foundation for the efficient delivery of follow-up cooperation plans.
Following the forum, President Zhou Fei and the delegation paid an on-site visit to the Nursing Training Center and the Smart Health and Elderly Care Service Training & Teaching Bas, and observed the high-simulation practical teaching scenarios up close.


This visit serves as an important opportunity for the two institutions to deepen friendship, learn from each other and build consensus. It also provides a valuable platform for our school to broaden its international vision and refine the characteristics of nursing education. Moving forward, taking this visit as a new starting point, both sides will continue to strengthen multi-dimensional and in-depth communication, refine cooperation measures, and jointly promote the high-quality development of nursing education.
