Delegation from Shinawatra University Visits SXVTC

On the morning of January 13, a four-member delegation led by President Zhou Fei of Shinawatra University, Thailand, visited Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College for exchange. Shen Lihua, Director of the College Development Committee, warmly received the guests.

The delegation inspected the college’s teaching and training facilities, including the Aesthetic Education Center, Smart City Industry-Education Integration Complex, Calligraphy Exhibition Hall, Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Zhejiang Institute of General-purpose Mortar, and Modern Business Service Training Center. They spoke highly of our college’s achievements in specialty development, teaching facilities construction and industry-education integration.

At the symposium, the two institutions held in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, faculty and student exchange, and joint base construction. Consensus was reached on student and faculty exchange programs and academic upgrading projects. Based on resource sharing and complementary advantages, both sides will jointly advance the systematic development of talent training and the internationalization of education, and build a wide-ranging and multi-level international education cooperation system. AMemorandum of Understanding Between Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College and Shinawatra Universitywas signed at the meeting.

This visit and the signing of the MOU mark the official launch of friendly cooperative relations between the two institutions. Both sides will establish a regular exchange mechanism, continuously expand cooperation and exchange areas, and make positive contributions to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand as well as the cultivation of international talents.
