
On the morning of October 17, Dr. Szonja A. Buslig, Vice President of the Hungary-China Friendship Association and Academic Consultant of Edutus University, paid a visit to Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College for exchange. Shen Lihua, Party Secretary of our college, extended a warm welcome to Dr. Szonja A. Buslig on behalf of the college. Representatives of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and relevant secondary schools attended the forum.
As a Hungarian sinologist, Dr. Szonja A. Buslig holds a doctoral degree in Linguistics from Eötvös Loránd University. She once served as the Cultural and Education Counsellor of the Hungarian Embassy in China from May 2012 to July 2022.
Dr. Szonja A. Buslig inspected the Aesthetic Education Center, Smart City Industry-Education Integration Complex, Calligraphy Practice Base, Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum, Zhejiang Institute of General-purpose Mortar, Modern Business Service Training Center and other practical training bases. She spoke highly of SXVTC’s teaching facilities, specialty development and industry-education integration.





At the symposium, both sides conducted in-depth discussions on teacher training, student exchange, curriculum standard development, cooperative school-running and international competitions. The two parties reached an agreement to carry out multi-level cooperation in fields such as information engineering, electromechanical engineering technology and business studies, so as to systematically advance the internationalization of education of both institutions. AMemorandum of Understanding Between Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College and Edutus Universitywas signed at the meeting.

This visit and the signing of the memorandum mark the official establishment of friendly cooperative relations between the two universities, laying a solid foundation for diversified cooperation in the future. Both sides will set up a regular exchange mechanism, continuously expand cooperation fields and deepen cooperation connotation, and jointly contribute to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Hungary as well as the cultivation of international talents.
