
On the afternoon of May 12, a 13-member doctoral delegation led by Dr. Supat Teravecharoenchai, Vice President of Krirk University, and Panit Khemtong, Advisor to the Vice President, paid an exchange visit to Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College. Shen Lihua, Party Secretary of SXVTC, warmly received the guests.

The delegation inspected SXVTC’s training bases, including the Smart City Industry-Education Integration Complex, Calligraphy Practice Base, Modern Business Service Training Center, Zhejiang Institute of General-purpose Mortar, Nursing Training Center and Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum. They spoke highly of SXVTC’s teaching facilities, specialty development and industry-education integration.

Chinese and Thai teachers and students attended joint classes and experienced traditional Chinese medicine appropriate techniques such as tuina massage, acupuncture, scraping, cupping therapy and auricular point pressing. Through interactive exchanges, both sides directly perceived the similarities and differences between traditional Chinese medicine and Thai medicine in diagnostic and therapeutic techniques, theoretical systems and cultural connotations, and deeply appreciated the unique charm of TCM culture.


At the symposium, the two institutions held in-depth discussions on cooperation in talent training, international promotion of curriculum standards, two-way teacher and student exchanges, and international student education. Both sides aim to systematically advance the process of education internationalization and build an all-round and multi-level international education cooperation system through the interconnection of educational resources and complementary strengths. After the symposium, the two sides exchanged gifts and took group photos as a souvenir.

This visit not only consolidated the friendship between the two institutions, but also laid a solid foundation for expanding cooperation projects in the future. Going forward, the two institutions will establish a regular exchange mechanism, continuously deepen cooperation and exchanges, and make positive contributions to promoting educational and cultural exchanges between China and Thailand as well as the training of international talents.
