The First “China-Italy Cup” Art and Design Works Joint Exhibition Held at SXVTC

This morning, the opening ceremony of the First “China-Italy Cup” Art and Design Works Joint Exhibition, together with the Graduation Design Exhibition of the Cultural and Creative Professional Cluster and the Traditional Folk Art Entering Campus Art Exhibition, was grandly held at Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College.

Ma Wei, Second-level Researcher and Secretary-General of Shaoxing Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Li Hong, Chairman of Shaoxing Folk Artists Association; Wang Zhe, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shengzhou Federation of Literary and Art Circles; Zheng Xingguo, Vice Chairman of Shaoxing Folk Artists Association and Zhejiang Master of Arts and Crafts; Huang Xiaobang, Chairman of Yuecheng District Folk Artists Association; Yu Tian and Yu Baiqing, Zhejiang Masters of Arts and Crafts; Hu Zhigang, General Manager of Beijing Yishidai Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Branch; Shen Lihua, Party Secretary of SXVTC; Huang Baijiang, Executive President; Chen Jianfang, Vice President; together with heads of relevant college departments, faculty and student representatives from Accademia di belle Artilegalmente Riconosciuta di CUNEO, Shaoxing University, Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College, Chengdu Vocational & Technical College, Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, and representatives of international students attended the opening ceremony.

The event was hosted by SXVTC and co-organized by eight institutions including Accademia di belle Artilegalmente Riconosciuta di CUNEO, Accademia Libera di Belle Arti Firenze (Italy), Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, Chengdu Vocational & Technical College and Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College. The exhibition collected more than 260 works submitted by 8 domestic and Italian universities as well as 3 associations, covering environmental art, visual communication, film and animation, furniture design, jewelry design, costume design, sculpture, photography, printmaking and other art categories.

Huang Baijiang, Executive President of SXVTC, delivered the welcome speech.

Emanuele Londa, teacher from Accademia di belle Artilegalmente Riconosciuta di CUNEO, Italy, delivered a speech.

Chen Jianfang, Vice President of SXVTC, read out the list of student winners of the First “China-Italy Cup” Art and Design Works Joint Exhibition.

Shen Lihua, Party Secretary of SXVTC, and Hu Zhigang, General Manager of Beijing Yishidai Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Branch, presented exhibition participation certificates to faculty representatives: Jin Ling from Yiwu Industrial & Commercial College, Li Jia from Chengdu Vocational & Technical College, Liu Shihao from Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College, and Fu Yufang from SXVTC.

Huang Mingguang, Dean of the School of Landscape Architecture and Architecture of Jiangxi Environmental Engineering Vocational College, and Linghu Wensheng, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office & Dean of the School of International Education of Shaoxing University, awarded certificates to the winning students.

Rotta Roberto, Chair of the Design Department at Accademia di belle Artilegalmente Riconosciuta di CUNEO, Italy, presented a signed collection of works to Xu Jian, Deputy Librarian of SXVTC Library.

Li Hong, Chairman of Shaoxing Folk Artists Association, and Yang Yue, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Architecture and Design Art of SXVTC, unveiled the plaque for the jointly built Luban Workshop by Shaoxing Folk Artists Association and the School of Architecture and Design Art.

Jiang Xiaoyan, Dean of the School of Architecture and Design Art, appointed Zheng Xingguo, Vice Chairman of Shaoxing Folk Artists Association and Zhejiang Master of Arts and Crafts, as well as Masters Yu Tian and Yu Baiqing, as academic tutors of the Traditional Folk Art Inheritance Base of the school.
