Recently, Dr. Szonja A. Buslig, Vice President of the Hungary-China Friendship Association and Advisor to Edutus University, alongside Szencz Annamária, Director of International Relations at Edutus University, attended the 6th Shaoxing International Friendship Cities Conference and paid an exchange visit to Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College. Shen Lihua, Director of the College Development Committee, together with principal administrators from the International Exchange and Cooperation Office and relevant secondary schools, extended a warm reception and hosted the unveiling ceremony for the E-Commerce Workshop.

On May 29, during the 6th Shaoxing International Friendship Cities Conference, Szencz Annamária, Director of International Relations at Edutus University, and Xu Zefang, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office of SXVTC, signed the agreement of E-Commerce Workshop on behalf of Edutus University and Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College respectively. The unveiling of the Workshop was jointly completed by both sides in the afternoon.

As a key initiative under the construction of the Budapest Institute of Engineering and Technology, Shaoxing Vocational & Technical College, the E-Commerce Workshop focuses on cross-border e-commerce to carry out curriculum co-development, vocational skills training and occupational standard formulation, boosting bilateral cooperation in relevant sectors.

At the follow-up forum, aligned with the construction roadmap of the Budapest Institute of Engineering and Technology, the two parties further discussed and refined implementation plans and schedules covering training programmes, joint curriculum development and collaborative competitions focusing on artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce and mechatronics, to deliver tangible cooperation outcomes.


During their campus visit, the delegation visited the Smart City Industry-Education Complex, Calligraphy Training Base, Nursing Training Center, Zhejiang Provincial General Mortar Research Institute, Architectural Model Museum and Modern Business Service Training Center. They spoke highly of the college’s institutional development, campus environment and advanced practical training facilities.
Following the inauguration of the Budapest Institute of Engineering and Technology in Hungary on May 13, the successful inauguration of the E-Commerce Workshop enrichs the content of bilateral partnership. This exchange has refined relevant collaborative activities, helping to steadily advance the construction of the Budapest Institute of Engineering and Technology, promote exchanges in curricula, teaching materials, and vocational skills standards, better serve China-Hungary vocational education cooperation, and continuously enhance the SXVTC’s capacity for international education.
